THE HOLZBAU-NORDIC FORUM TO BE ARRANGED IN NORWAY FOR THE FIRST TIME

In 2014 Trondheim is hosting the third Nordic wood conference, the Holzbau-Nordic Forum. The second conference took place in Kuovola, Finland (2013) and the first in Växsjö, Sweden (2012). Like the conference in Garmisch Partenkirchen, the aim is here to establish an arena for the Nordic and the European wood building industry, a place to meet and exchange ideas and experiences.

The organizing group behind the conference; The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), SINTEF (the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia), the Ministry for Agriculture and food, the Directorate for Cultural Heritage, the Sør-Trøndelag County Authority, Wood Focus Norway and The Municipality of Trondheim, is aiming to build and develop the conference into an annual meeting place for those occupied with promoting wood in building enterprises. The conference sets out to include the full range of actors involved in the building process, from the first idea-developing phase to the completion of the physical building.

Welcome to Trondheim, as a guest, exhibitor or sponsor!
